Week 5

This week was quite a mixed-up one! We had Melbourne Cup Day and the rest of the week was Planning Week. Our grade had a whole morning with Mrs V. It was great fun! For the children who came to school on Monday, there were lots of fun 'horsey' activities. Did your horse win in the Cup?

    On the 23 of November we are going to Healesville Sanctuary and the 24 of November I am going to Vietnam for 2 weeks I will be back on the 9 of December!!

    Gabe I have not had a good time I have been having a great time. In N.Z. we go to the Dairy after School sometimes that is the milk bar.I have not seen a game of rugby or soccer. I like my school.

    thanks:)For your postcard Lachlan our school starts at 9.00-3.00 We do not wear a school uniform. :-) We went to the restart mall (in Christchurch city) and sang Maori songs.The boys did not wear a shirt. there are 5 boys and 13 girls.

    thanks:)For your postcard Fletcher, I am having a good time at school, you know how they did Alladin in grade 6, well I am going to be in a production with my brother (year 3 and up) called bugsy malone. I am an orphan in it and we say 'down, down, down, down, down ,down ,down, and out'. Here I am in Year 3 because they do not have prep. Year 1 is the first year here, then year 2 etc. Our school is as big as your oval, there are 122 children here.

    Thanks :) for your postcard Chantelle. The weather has been good, a little cooler than Melbourne. I usually wear a jumper to school. There is no uniform, so I wear what I like.

    Thanks :) for your postcard Taylor. We do have spelling test. I did have fun at the Tekapo hot springs. We do art with our own teacher, called Mrs Rossie. We dont do anything normally on the computer. We have ipads in our room and we play super 7 which is educational.
